About
Dollmare is an indie adventure simulation released on October 24, 2024, by Alex Grade, gonzeek, and Oxeren. The single-player experience places you in a doll factory where you accept a job offer to pay rent. Your primary task involves inspecting dolls for defects and anomalies while following strange protocols. You must ensure only safe dolls pass inspection without getting fired or staying alive. The narrative begins with the desperate need for money that leads to accepting this specific employment. What starts as an easy way to earn cash quickly turns into something much more sinister. Players will carefully examine each doll for strange defects and eerie behaviors throughout the session. You are expected to spot every anomaly, ranging from subtle flaws to unsettling movements. The game environment does not involve being chased by monsters or having anything jump out at you. There is no requirement to fight anyone or strive for resources during gameplay. Despite the lack of direct combat or resource gathering, the experience remains a horror title. You will feel scared and unease while experiencing oppressive feelings as if being watched. Something definitely will happen to you within this setting.
