About
Grimlord is an indie action RPG developed and published by Metalcat Interactive Co.,Ltd that launched on June 22, 2023. The title combines elements of adventure and simulation while offering a single-player experience designed specifically for VR. Players can utilize every type of weaponry and armament available within the game to customize their approach. The gameplay allows users to hold weapons in any position and apply real-life fight styles to defeat opponents. You may choose to act as a mage wiping out enemies or improvise tactics to break an enemy's guard. The experience is described as a story-driven classic action RPG that relies on native VR interactions rather than a battle arena format. Combat extends beyond simple hack and slash mechanics, offering unrestricted fighting styles and limitless crafting options. Enemies are presented as versatile and fierce throughout the journey from the lowest of beginnings to the end. The game features a dedicated map with views intended for exploration within a Souls style loop containing shortcuts and fire points. The main story length is listed at four hours, while additional content and completionist playtime are not specified in the provided data. Your future and the future of this land lie in your hands as you fight your way out from the start. This entry aims to provide an experience that fills a perceived gap for long-term action RPGs native to VR.
