The world of Gamindustri is currently experiencing a strange calm where the Goddesses protecting each nation are at peace and there is no apocalyptic threat in sight. To shake things up with a good story, the world's leading journalists Dengekiko and Famitsu challenge the CPUs and CPU Candidates to complete a series of missions. Soon they all may be in for a far bigger scoop in this action hack n slash title released by Idea Factory International on March 21, 2016. For the first time ever, your favorite Neptunia characters will have to hack n slash their way through waves of enemies in real time within this Action Adventure RPG. In the free-roaming stages, you will create chain combos both on the ground and in the air to survive while playing as a single-player experience developed by Idea Factory, Compile Heart, and Tamsoft. The Dual System allows you to switch between two characters on the battlefield so you can balance out each character's strengths and weaknesses to create the ultimate battle duo. You will also get some new playable characters who might be familiar from previous Neptunia games. When you experience a Costume Break during intense battles, your outfits will tear which lowers your defense but increases your critical rate and EXE Drive Gauge. The road to comebacks is paved with ripped fabric as the heat of battle causes wear and tear on your outfits. Fill up the EXE Drive Gauge in order to clear the room with two tiers of special attacks that might get you a helping hand from your friend later on. The main story takes approximately 10 hours to complete while the main story plus extras requires about 15 hours of gameplay. If you aim for completionist length, you can expect to spend around 37 hours playing through all available content. The game features 1080p graphics in its free-roaming stages where you get to create chain combos both on the ground and in the air.
