The adventure takes place in the 1990s and features gorgeous pixel art across more than forty hand-drawn environments. Players will experience a compelling narrative supported by over four thousand lines of fully voiced dialogue. The main story runs for approximately seven hours, while the full experience including extras extends to eight hours. Completionist playthroughs also take around eight hours to finish. The game offers streamlined controls with a single-click mouse interface and controller support. Enlarged environments allow for widescreen viewing without black bars on the sides. Five brand new motorcycle designs are available to unlock within the game. Kathy, a strong-willed journalism major, investigates the mysterious death of her recently departed grandfather in Conwell Springs. She uses her motorcycle, a pack of cigs, and a notepad to collect clues and make deductions throughout the town. The investigation involves analyzing evidence, interrogating suspects, and solving cryptic puzzles as she moves from location to location. Questions emerge regarding what Joseph Rain was looking for years ago and why many residents are going mad.
