About

King Arthur: Legion IX is a turn-based, character-centric tactical RPG developed and published by NeocoreGames. The game was released on May 9, 2024, and falls within the strategy genre alongside role-playing elements. Players can experience a single-player campaign set in a dark fantasy version of the Arthurian myth known as Avalon. The narrative follows Gaius Julius Mento, a skilled Roman tribune who leads his forces through this mythical land. A new threat emerges when the infamous Ninth Legion of Rome arrives on the island under the command of the fallen hero. Their commander received a demonic legion from the dead emperor Septimus Sulla to find an escape route from Tartarus. The title offers an all-new story and heroes for newcomers while presenting tough challenges for returning veterans. It is designed as a sequel or companion piece that appeals to fans who enjoyed Knight's Tale or seek a Roman-themed campaign.
