About
MachiaVillain is an indie strategy and simulation game published by Good Shepherd Entertainment and developed by Wild Factor. Released on May 16, 2018, this single-player title places you in Villain City, a luxury community situated in the hills of horror. The setting is home to various bad guys including ax murderers, mad scientists, and tax evaders who consider it their sweet home. You begin with a piece of empty land full of vermin near a rubbish forest instead of the promised haunted house. With some effort and the help of your minions, you can turn this property into a mortal trap for locals. Your goal is to lure people inside and trigger deadly traps or let your minions feast on their brains and flesh. Every night you will multiply your evil level until everyone calls your mansion scary, nasty, and horrible. The League of Machiavellian Villains enforces strict rules regarding the level of wickedness required to stay in the community. Drs Frank and Stein serve as co-Chairmen of the Board of evil and dictate a series of rules for your villainous business. These guidelines cover everything from how to kill intruders to which salads are considered the most evil. You must build an evil mansion that includes a perfect crypt for your vampire, an insanest lab for your mad scientist, and a cannibal kitchen. Gather your evil nightmare team by choosing minions wisely, as each possesses different traits and needs that must be tended to. Your minions have different fighting styles such as long range, bare handed, or bare fanged. Manage your monsters by ordering them to do your evil deeds and having them clean the blood stains. You can slaughter innocent victims ranging from famous tropes like jocks, nerds, potheads, party girls, or horror movie celebrities. The environment is full of hostile creatures who want to take your place at the top of the food chain. You will face threats such as Chupacabra, Wendigo, and Sasquatch while pro monster hunters come knocking with stakes, holy water, or baseball bats. Show them who is the boss by defending your position as the Villain boss. Bloody good crafting allows you to use spare parts gathered from victims and harvested from the environment to create something horrifying but useful.
