Make Way is an indie racing title developed by Ice BEAM and published by Secret Mode that arrived on December 4, 2023. Players speed around loops and dart through train crossings while drifting around helter skelters in this modern take on classic racing games. A key twist involves building the track by grabbing pieces from a pick n mix menu and snapping them together to create the first course. Participants dodge hazards, unleash weaponry, and avoid falling off the edge during a chaotic rush to the finish line. After each round, users bolt on new track pieces to expand the course for the next attempt. The experience continues as players scrap across ever-growing courses featuring increasingly perilous features until a winner is crowned before starting over with a brand-new course. Users can work together or compete against one another to quickly build tracks using a range of ridiculous pieces such as loops, seesaws, corkscrews, and train crossings. Additional obstacles and power-ups are added to the mix to alter the flow of each race. One player might ruin a friend's run with a well-placed barrier or jettison them off the side of a curve using a crafty boost-pad. The chaotic nature of the gameplay allows players to blow up sections of the track as they see fit.
