About
Dicefolk is a tactical roguelite adventure published by Good Shepherd Entertainment and developed by LEAP Game Studios and Tiny Ghoul. The game was released on February 27, 2024, and falls under the indie, strategy, and casual genres. Players take on the role of Alea, a young hero who discovers the ability to befriend Chimeras. This single-player experience focuses on fighting back against evil forces threatening humanity's extinction. The core gameplay involves wielding magical dice to command a team of mythical beasts in battle. You will recruit dozens of unique creatures to create a perfect team that suits your playstyle. The roster includes over 100 hand-drawn Chimeras ranging from tough tanks to speedy attackers. Unlocking all the talismans allows you to uncover the mystical secrets behind these creatures' existence. Strategizing and adapting your approach is necessary for each battle due to the large variety of available allies. The main story takes approximately five hours to complete, while including extras extends the playtime to ten hours. A completionist run requires about forty-one hours to finish all content.
