About

On September 21, 1986, two priests arrived at the Martin Family home in rural Connecticut to investigate an apparent case of demonic possession. Only two people would leave the house alive. The game is a pixel horror title inspired by classic 8-bit gaming and the Satanic Scare of the 1980s. Players use a holy crucifix to perform exorcisms, fight back against possessed cultists, and cleanse haunted objects. The experience includes three chapters of The Unholy Trinity that span six hours for the main story or seven hours with extras. Chapter one follows a young priest returning to the house where an exorcism went horribly wrong a year before. In chapter two, the priest descends into a new nightmare after confronting unspeakable paranormal entities and narrowly escaping with his life. The final chapter sees the priest aided by a mysterious stranger traveling the dark countryside to stop a Satanic cult from summoning a demon. Visually, the game features wickedly chunky pixels and hand-crafted rotoscope animations set to a haunting retro soundtrack. The world of dread includes exploration of haunted forests, abandoned churches, and the inner sanctums of a Satanic cult. There are multiple secret endings available alongside 1980s religious paranoia and demonic EVPs channeled through abandonware speech synthesizers. Completionist playthroughs require approximately sixteen hours to finish all content.
