About
HARDCORE MECHA is an indie action title published by RocketPunch Games and Lightning Games that arrived on June 26, 2019. The game combines single-player and multi-player modes within a two-dimensional platformer framework designed for better handling. Players can select their preferred mecha to engage in fast-paced competitive battles against opponents. The campaign mode consists of eight chapters containing a total of eighteen levels for players to explore. Throughout the narrative, users will face more than fifty distinct enemy mechas featuring various designs across different environments such as mineshafts, underwater areas, urban settings, and space. Certain stages offer the option to exit the vehicle and infiltrate behind enemy lines on foot. Between missions, players have the ability to develop and customize new gears and focus accessories for their ride. The story segment lasts approximately seven hours, while including extras extends the main experience to fourteen hours. Cut-scenes transition seamlessly between gameplay scenes with a total duration of forty minutes. Full-length voice acting accompanies the narrative to support the storytelling elements.
