About
King of Seas is an Action Role Playing game published by Team17 Digital LTD and developed by 3DClouds. The title was released on May 24, 2021, and falls within the genres of Action, Indie, Adventure, and RPG. This single-player experience takes place in a procedurally generated pirate world where players fight to regain what has been taken away. The narrative involves battles, lost islands, and treasures as you strive to become the king of all pirates. A series of quests guide your journey while uncovering intriguing characters within the King of Seas world. You will complete these tasks to shape your own path through an epic adventure filled with amazing characters and missions. The world reacts to every action you take, causing naval routes to change and difficulty to adapt after each conquered settlement. Thick fog ensures that travelling towards objectives requires careful navigation rather than plain sailing. Atmospheric effects influence gameplay, requiring players to watch wind direction closely during battles. Five types of highly customizable ships are available through an equipment and skill system typical of role-playing games. Combat involves more than just cannon shots and nautical strategy, offering speed and spectacle with over 20 skills to choose from. Three branches of talents allow you to suit any playstyle while managing a set of abilities for battles. Special missions provide extra rewards upon completion, with each conquered settlement serving as the source of new adventures. Secret maps are hidden in the abyssal depths, allowing players to find directions to submerged treasures during treasure hunts. Each settlement produces specific products with their own market value for trading between locations where demand exists. Players can fish for up to 30 varieties of fish living below the ocean surface while observing time of day and weather conditions. Every battle won drives up the bounty on your head, allowing comparison with the most famous pirates of history. Multiple difficulties are available, adding a substantial multiplier to the bounty obtained in hardcore mode. The main story length is approximately 18 hours, while the total playtime including extras reaches about 24 hours. Weather changes can knock players off their sea legs, ranging from thick fog to dangerous storms that must be weathered. The strategy starts with careful management of ship control and wind direction during naval engagements.Read moreShow less

Fun, cartoonish pirating, which makes you feel cheeky rather than evil.
