Each settlement produces specific products with their own market value for trading between locations where demand exists. Players can fish for up to 30 varieties of fish living below the ocean surface while observing time of day and weather conditions. Every battle won drives up the bounty on your head, allowing comparison with the most famous pirates of history. Multiple difficulties are available, adding a substantial multiplier to the bounty obtained in hardcore mode. The main story length is approximately 18 hours, while the total playtime including extras reaches about 24 hours. Weather changes can knock players off their sea legs, ranging from thick fog to dangerous storms that must be weathered.
