About
Skyhill is an indie adventure and simulation game developed by Mandragora and published by Daedalic Entertainment. The title was released on October 6, 2015, as a single-player experience set in an apocalyptic world following World War III. A bio-weapon impact has left the planet infested with mutants that hunt survivors with vicious claws. Players must navigate this hostile environment while managing dwindling supplies to avoid starvation or death. The narrative takes place within the Skyhill Hotel, where the protagonist begins in a fancy penthouse before descending to the first floor. Survival requires leaving the luxurious starting point to search for food and craft weapons against the threats below. Every corner of the skyscraper presents danger, making time a critical factor as the player attempts to reach the exit. The game offers roguelike RPG gameplay that feels fresh in its survival setting. The main story takes approximately three hours to complete, while including extra content extends playtime to six hours. For players aiming for full completion, the total length reaches fifteen hours. This duration reflects the time needed to explore the building thoroughly and manage resources effectively throughout the descent.
