About
DEAD OR SCHOOL is an action indie RPG developed and published by Studio Nanafushi that was released on June 3, 2019. The single-player experience takes place in a zombie-infested Tokyo where survivors live quietly in underground shelters without hope. Hisako, a girl who grew up below ground, dreams of reaching the surface after hearing about school from her grandmother. She boards an underground train to head above ground and faces the despair that awaits her there. Players can defeat enemies and grow their own character by collecting items and creating powerful weapons throughout the game. The hack and slash gameplay allows you to obtain gear from foes and customize your skill tree to build a unique character. You can disassemble weapons, collect parts, and mix them to enhance your abilities with various attack weights and rare effects. This system offers unlimited possibilities for customizing equipment to suit your playstyle. The main story runs for approximately 21 hours, while the full experience including extras extends to about 24 hours. Completing all aspects of the game takes around 25 hours depending on how thoroughly you explore the content.
