About
DEAD RISING is an action and adventure title published and developed by Capcom that was released on September 12, 2016. The game features a single-player experience where you take on the role of Frank West, a freelance photojournalist seeking a major story. Upon arriving in a small suburban town, Frank discovers the area is being overrun by zombies rather than offering safety. He retreats to the local shopping mall, which quickly becomes a battleground for survival against an endless stream of enemies. Frank must survive within a seventy-two-hour window while investigating the mystery behind a horrendous epidemic at Willamette Mall. The gameplay utilizes a dynamic real-time system where time continues to pass regardless of whether Frank is moving or standing still. Players can utilize any item found throughout the entire shopping center to fight off flesh-hungry mobs and search for the truth. This approach brings new meaning to the phrase retail hell as players chop through zombies until they drop.
