Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk is an RPG and Strategy title published by NIS America, Inc. and developed by Nippon Ichi Software, Inc. Players assume the role of Tractatus de Monstrum, a living book that commands puppet soldiers within an endless maze beneath a small town. The adventure begins when Dusk Witch Dronya arrives with her own puppet forces to search for something buried deep underground. At your base camp, you can prepare for future journeys by creating new puppet soldiers and assigning them various squads and formations. You may also synthesize improved equipment, accept requests from townsfolk, and utilize Witch Petitions provided by Dronya to aid your efforts. Once inside the labyrinth, the gameplay involves jumping over barricades, solving puzzles, and smashing through walls to move further downward in search of treasure and rare artifacts. The dungeon becomes more vicious as you acquire greater riches, challenging your ability to survive long enough to return with your haul. The main story takes approximately 55 hours to complete, while including extras extends the playtime to about 71 hours. A completionist run requires roughly 109 hours to finish all available content.
