About
Prey: Typhon Hunter is an action title published by Bethesda Softworks and developed by Arkane Studios, released on December 11, 2018. The game offers both single-player and multi-player modes for players to explore. In the Mooncrash campaign, TranStar's secret moon base ceased transmitting shortly after the events of the original Prey. Peter, a hacker stationed on a spy satellite, must investigate why the base stopped sending signals. Trapped under a contract with KASMA Corp, he seeks to uncover lost secrets and find a way to see his family again. The Typhon Hunter update introduces an online multiplayer experience where one survivor named Morgan Yu faces five other players. These opponents stalk, hunt, and hide in plain sight as shape-shifting Mimic aliens while every object around them can act as a potential enemy. A single-player VR-only campaign called TranStar VR is also included within this update for those with compatible hardware. The main story takes approximately one hour to complete, while finishing all content requires about ten hours of playtime.
