About
The Eternal Cylinder is an action, survival, open world, and adventure title developed by ACE Team and published by Good Shepherd Entertainment. It was released on October 13, 2022, as a single-player experience where players control a herd of strange creatures called Trebhums. These entities explore an alien world filled with exotic lifeforms and surreal environments while discovering dozens of mutations. Players can evolve to reach new areas, overcome puzzles, and survive the dangers present in this setting. The narrative begins on a dangerous planet featuring surreal and fantastical environments teeming with creatures that defy description. This world offers both wonder and mystery, though its biggest threat is a gargantuan, ancient rolling structure known as The Cylinder. This massive object crushes everything in its path, raising questions about its origin and how it can be stopped. Within this perilous place, the Trebhum serves as a tiny creature possessing the powerful ability to adapt. Although not the fastest or strongest, the character can mutate and evolve new physical attributes and abilities. These changes help defend against predators and navigate through the world. The main story takes approximately 12 hours to complete. Adding extras extends the playtime to about 17 hours for those who wish to explore further. A completionist approach to the game requires around 23 hours of gameplay.
