About

RAD is a 3D action rogue-like developed by Double Fine Productions and published by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. The game was released on August 19, 2019, and features single-player gameplay. Players take on the role of a teenage protagonist navigating a post-post-apocalyptic world where humanity has survived two separate armageddon events. The setting is known as the Fallow, an ever-changing radioactive wasteland populated by unknown creatures. Venturing deeper into these lands exposes the player to gnarly toxins that cause significant harm to their human form. As the journey progresses, these toxins twist and mutate the protagonist's body, granting strange new abilities while reducing humanity. The fate of the world rests on the player, their trusty bat, and the mutations gained during exploration. The main story takes approximately 8 hours to complete, while including extras extends the playtime to about 26 hours. Completionist length data is not provided for this title.
