About

Recipe for Disaster is a management simulation developed by Dapper Penguin Studios and published by Kasedo Games. The title was released on August 5, 2022, as an indie strategy game suitable for casual players. This single-player experience focuses on the fast-paced environment of a professional kitchen and dining room. Players can build their dream restaurant by creating recipes, designing menus, and managing staff members. The game offers two distinct modes: pre-set scenarios where you turn around failing establishments, or freeplay mode to bring your own vision to life. You will customize food menus and experiment with ingredients to invent new dishes that impress customers. Running a successful restaurant is not straightforward because the industry relies heavily on keeping people happy and motivated. Maintaining staff morale requires significant effort, as serious personality flaws and major skill gaps can cause problems. The main story takes approximately 16 hours to complete, while adding extras extends playtime to 21 hours. For those aiming for full completion, the total length reaches 24 hours.
