About
Scarlet Hollow is an indie adventure RPG developed and published by Black Tabby Games, released on June 11, 2021. The game offers a single-player experience set in a rural mountain region of North Carolina where the player arrives for a family funeral. You are expected to meet a long-lost cousin and help her through the service at her mother's home. The setting centers on a coal town that has seen better days, with mines sealed after a fatal collapse and livestock being preyed upon by strange creatures. Houses in the area are infested with vengeful spirits, causing the quiet community to suddenly become active with horrors just as you arrive. The narrative warns that saving everyone may not be possible, and survival of even yourself is uncertain. A specific warning notes that the game contains occasional flashing images, advising players who might be affected by such visuals to proceed with caution. The main storyline involves surviving a week while trying to uncover the horrifying mysteries haunting Scarlet Hollow before they end your life.
