About

SCARLET NEXUS is an Action, RPG, and Adventure game. It was published by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment and developed by BANDAI NAMCO Studios Inc. The game was released on June 24, 2021. Players can choose to play as either Yuito or Kasane. Both are elite psionics with psychokinesis abilities and their own motivations for fighting. Completing both of their stories will unlock all the mysteries of a Brain Punk future where technology and psychic abilities coexist. In the distant future, a psionic hormone was discovered in the human brain, granting people extra-sensory powers and changing the world. This discovery led to the emergence of deranged mutants called Others who descended from the sky with a hunger for human brains. These Others are highly resistant to conventional attacks, requiring extreme measures to combat them. Psionics, individuals with acute extra-sensory abilities, became humanity's last hope against this threat. They were recruited into the Other Suppression Force (OSF), tasked with defending humanity from the Others.
