Shelter is an indie adventure simulation developed and published by Might and Delight, released on August 28, 2013. This single-player title places you in a forest setting where survival is your primary goal. The game features an original soundtrack composed by Retro Family alongside graphically innovative visuals. Players navigate a world of nature where shelter serves as the only hope against various threats. The narrative follows a mother badger protecting her cubs from harm while they journey through dangerous terrain. Along the way, the group faces stalks from birds of prey, perils of the night, river rapids crossings, and big forest fires. Starvation remains a constant looming threat as food is found but may not be sufficient for everyone. You will learn that the cubs require food not just to survive, but to overcome the varying challenges they encounter. The main story takes approximately one hour to complete, while including extras extends playtime to two hours. A completionist run of the game also requires about two hours to finish all available content. In this adventure, every living creature is put to the test as you determine who will survive to live another day.
