Shelter 2 is an indie adventure and simulation game published by Might and Delight on March 9, 2015. The single-player experience lets you guide a powerful Lynx through vast open landscapes. You will give birth to your cubs and raise them while strengthening their skills for hunting prey. Your goal is to explore the wild beauty of nature and prepare your family for dangerous entities living on the cold tundra. Starting as a pregnant mother, your lynx begins her adventure by giving birth before you continue the journey into parenthood. Nurturing cubs is essential because your survival guarantees theirs. You must survive in the middle of the food chain where you are both predator and prey. This requires staying on guard to feed your family while enjoying moments of peace when possible. The game includes more elaborate gameplay features than its predecessor with stamina mechanics included. Different types of movements, jumps, and a variety of prey are available within the setting of changing seasons. The main story takes about two hours to complete while the full experience with extras extends to four hours. A completionist playthrough requires approximately ten hours to finish all content.
