This single-player experience serves as a tribute to classic games like Marathon, Doom, and Wolfenstein 3d. Players descend into the depths of a dark citadel to fight through six episodes containing thirty levels of action. The game features six challenging bosses that players must overcome during their run. The gameplay style is hardcore and brutal, offering an old-school shooter full of action reminiscent of 90s classics. You can continue playing until you break, as the game provides unlimited continues for persistent attempts. Hub areas act as respite points if a specific episode proves too difficult to complete. The experience relies completely on skill since there are no cheap hitscanners and all projectiles must be dodged. Carry fourteen different types of weapons, each with obliterating secondary fire functions available for use. You can also make the world tremble with three types of single-use special weapons throughout the campaign. The main story takes approximately five hours to finish, while the main story plus extras extends to six hours. A completionist run requiring all content will take about seven hours to complete.
