The Mercury Man is an isometric title developed and published by Mehsoft that blends action, adventure, indie, and casual gameplay elements. Released on May 20, 2018, this single-player experience takes place in a unique sci-fi world set in the far grim dark future. The narrative begins in the year 2310 when humanity discovered a method to cure all deadly diseases by replacing patient blood with mercury. By 2315, this technology had spread to Russia, where initially only the wealthy could afford the procedure while clandestine clinics emerged to serve those with little money. Over time, the number of ordinary people contracting incurable diseases increased significantly, and the mercury treatment ceased to be effective for them. It eventually became clear that living around individuals who underwent the transfusion, known as «mercuries», posed a danger to others. The story unfolds over a main plot that takes approximately three hours to complete. Players can extend their experience to seven hours by including extra content alongside the main story.
