About
Welcome to Kowloon is an indie horror adventure developed by a1esska, Notex, N4bA, and Admia for release on August 1, 2023. This single-player experience places you in the first person within a dense urban area called Kowloon where you search for affordable housing. The setting features misty skies over a tangle of narrow streets and endless passageways that merge into an indistinguishable sea of iron, concrete, and glass. Time loses its meaning in this environment as every step leads to new discoveries and stories hidden within the walls. The inhabitants initially appear ordinary but reveal their true faces upon closer inspection. You will explore mysterious backstreets and cramped alleyways where locals lived hidden lives while poverty and gang violence flourish in the neighborhood. The average time to complete the main story is 50 minutes, which falls within one hour for both the main narrative and extras. Even a completionist playthrough remains under one hour, reflecting the concise nature of this walking simulator.
