If you've been waiting on NCSoft's Throne and Liberty, you were likely a bit disappointed when the MMORPG announced a two week delay to the global launch through Amazon Games. That doesn't mean the devs are planning on just staying radio silent until the new October 1st launch date rolls around. In fact, if you're hoping for some PvP action, the team has a two-day streamed planned you'll probably want to watch.
Starting on September 24th and running through the 25th, Throne and Liberty will be welcoming multiple guilds and content creators to a competition that showcases multiple PvP modes that will drop in Throne and Liberty at launch.
The "Siege the Day" event will show off 3v3 Arenas, the Battle for the Boonstone mode, and the much-advertised Castle Sieges. Day 1 will feature North American content creators and Day 2 will shift things to the European content creators. Castle Sieges will put a guild in charge of the castle and see if it can be defended as multiple other guilds try to take over. Will teams use brute force, stealth, or even just take advantage of opportunities to oust the defenders?
Battle for the Boonstone is a "capture the point" mode where the guild controlling the Boonstone at the end of the 30-minute timer wins. 3v3 Arenas are, well, you know...3v3 arenas.
Make sure your Amazon account is linked to your Twitch account if you plan to watch. You'll get titles and rewards like the Amitoi: Great-Fanged Figmen and the Morph: Caerulean Cygnus if you want for certain amounts of time. If you watch for at least 90 minutes each day, you'll gather all the prizes.
The full post breaks down the entire schedule and prize pool. Check your timezones so you don't miss out.
