Blue Archive Introduces New Story Content And Recruitable Students

Blue Archive has rolled out its newest update, “Pray-Ball! Swing for the Grand Slam!”, bringing with it new story content, recruitable students, and limited-time rewards. 

The update for the anime strategy RPG highlights two new characters — Sumire (Part-Timer) and Rei — alongside a special baseball-themed event story. There’s a recruitment event where players have an increased chance to obtain the new students until September 8. Sumire (Part-Timer) specializes in single-target attacks with a Weakness Detection effect that can stack damage up to 240 times, while Rei deals wide-area damage proportional to her attack power.

The accompanying “Pray-Ball! Swing for the Grand Slam!” story event is now live. Players follow Rei and Sumire (Part-Timer) as they investigate the quirky case of the Corgi Heroes baseball team, aiming to push them toward their first big victory. 

By progressing through the event’s quests and narrative, players can earn exclusive rewards like the Cheering Balloon item, as well as event points exchangeable for special prizes. Each completed stage grants 50 Pyroxenes, and clearing the final EX Stage rewards 5 Secret Tech Note Fragments.
