Digital Extremes Shares First Look At Warframe’s Upcoming Six-Player Squad Missions

The Digital Extremes team has been a bit busy with a “world tour” lately. And recently they spent some time in South Korea where they highlighted some of the content coming to their games. On the Warframe front, they shared details on the Iceblade of Narin update dropping on September 23. This update will introduce the free-to-play shooter’s 66th Warframe, Narin and take players back to the Zariman shipwreck to uncover their secret.

As the update’s title suggests, there’s a frosty component to Narin that facilitates crowd control. Narin is the game’s first female ice frame. Her signature Nunchasa bow and dual ice pistols allow her drag down her opponents with a literal hail of ammo. Her crest has appeared on the Yuvan Peak, and created the game’s latest Relay Hub in the Origin system. Interestingly, when players select this none, it will Rotate the Earth, showing players a side of the world they haven’t seen before.

Aside from the new Warframe, Iceblade of Narin’s other big feature will be the new 6-player squad mode, Glacial Defiance. These missions are played on the existing levels but feature new twists. Once completed, players will be sent to a new area named Melica’s Labroom.

Melica’s Labroom is where players will claim their rewards, provided they have fought enough new Entropic Eximus enemies and claimed the Entropic Kuva needed to trade with Cephalon Melica for new items.
