The latest BitCraft Online update isn’t very big, but it does make some interesting changes to the MMORPG. First off, if you’ve been holding onto Star Stones in your account inventory, you now have a use for them. Granted, that use right now is purely cosmetic and amounts to showing them off. But at least they can now do more than sit in your inventory. Eventually, the Star Stones will function as more than pets. But that will have to wait a bit.
In addition to the Star Stone changes, the update also makes some interesting changes to empires – two, in fact. The first change is that players with the role of Emperor may now move their empire’s capital to another settlement. This replaces the system of submitting to another empire.
Second, players who come into the ownership of a capital city of an empire now have the ability to take the crown. What this means is that current Emperors will want to be careful not to lose ownership of the capital city, lest they lose their entire empire.
Other changes in the update include adding new upgrades t housing deeds, adding two new larger residence buildings, and adding 2 new sets of furniture. The update also includes fixes and other adjustments.
Note that BitCraft Online is still in Early Access and therefore has a purchase price. As of this writing the devs' intent is to make the game free-to-play at launch.
