Fractured Online Update Video

While we wait for Fractured Online to eventually return next year, the developers are hard at work rebuilding the MMORPG. In fact, they showed some of that work off recently in a dev video where things like biome changes were highlighted. As stated in the video, the team is working to “establish a new style,” and part of that includes rebuilding the game’s world. This means creating new assets or finding ways to re-utilize old ones.

Also looked at was the character system and customization. This includes the implementation of a better armor coloring system. Effectively, the character system had to be rebuilt from the bottom up as well. For those wondering, the system supports three colors per piece of armor.
