Grab Your Raid Gear, Thaemine Extreme Drops In Lost Ark Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Smilegate and Amazon Games will drop Lost Ark’s January update, bringing new content and a large number of tweaks to the MMORPG. Among the things players can expect following the approximately four-hour downtime tomorrow is the new Thaemine Extreme raid. As described in the rather lengthy patch notes (You’ll be scrolling for a while.) Thaemine Extreme is an event raid that’s similar to Thaemine Hard Gate 4, but with differences. Among these changes is the addition of resurrection at the 4-2 battle workshop.

In addition to the raid event, the update also kicks off two other events, Guardian’s Call and Chaos Gate. Guardian’s Call offers players increased rewards for defeating Guardians, and players will find it’s been tweaked a bit since the last time it appeared in order to help with different progression systems. Chaos Gate brings a new type of enemy for players to defeat in order to earn special pouches with rewards in them. Rewards include Relic Engravings, Astrogems, and event coins.

A new collectible item will drop with tomorrow’s update as well, Nukman’s Illusion Stone. Players will need to collect the shattered pieces of these Illusion Stones to earn rewards. The quest to take on this mission, “Bearing the Hopes of Yoz,” has a few prerequisites players will need to complete before taking it on, specifically two Adventure Quests: “Illusory Bird’s Message” and “In Search of the Legendary Illusion”, and the South Rimeria World Quest “Connected Duty”.

As for the rest of the update, players can expect new additions to the store and a whole lot of balance changes. These can all be read about in the patch notes on the game’s site.
