“Historically Authentic” Tank MMO Steel Aces Launches On Developer Platform

Today, developer and publisher Armative Studios announced the launch of the free-to-play skill-based tank shooter Steel Aces. The game launched on its proprietary platform with plans for the Steam version to drop next week.

The launch version of the game will feature improvements based on feedback from the September Open Play Weekend. This includes UI improvements as well as improvements to vehicle handling, physics, and the player experience. Tracked vehicle traction has been reworked, as has steering mechanics and engine simulation. This should make the tanks feel more responsive.

As noted above, players can currently download the game from the official site. Those wanting it on Steam will need to wait a bit longer.
