Hop Into The Splitgate 2 Open Beta Today

Today, 1047 Games launched the open beta test for the upcoming F2P shooter, Splitgate 2. Since the last alpha test, the developer has added quite a bit of new content to the game, such as the new creative mode named “The Lab”. The lab gives players the ability to build whatever they like, with or without the help of friends. It requires no building experience, meaning those who’ve never built maps before can easily pick it up. That said, they’ve built in enough depth to make it appealing to experienced creators.

Players of the original Splitgate will be pleased to know that the Takedown mode has been added to the game. Even more, they’ve added four new simulation maps. Speaking of which, two new arena maps are available as well: Core and Stadium, and two new 24-player Onslaught Maps are available as well.
