In the past, Star Wars: TIE Fighter, Wing Commander 3, and Freespace 2 were among the most popular videogames available, but, lately, it's hard to find many other options that capture their design ethos, other than the flight segments of No Man's Sky and Star Citizen, or the launch of an occasional throwback like Star Wars: Squadrons.
