The space flight sim genre has largely gone to the wayside. In the past, Star Wars: TIE Fighter, Wing Commander 3, and Freespace 2 were among the most popular videogames available, but, lately, it's hard to find many other options that capture their design ethos, other than the flight segments of No Man's Sky and Star Citizen, or the launch of an occasional throwback like Star Wars: Squadrons. Fortunately, a new indie called Alliance Peacefighter has just arrived to offer another entry to this small list.
