It seems that Neverwinter players are a little bored with the Slaughterhouse. According to the most recent patch notes for the free-to-play MMORPG, the devs have noticed several issues with the feature and have made adjustments based on them. They’ve made changes to Arena boss speed in combat, fixed it so that healers who have been eliminated can’t continue healing from the lobby, and taken care of that glitch where opponents can just slip through the lobby’s front door. Hopefully.
Bosses getting a speed increase is intended to make them more challenging for players. Apparently, they just moved slowly enough that players could easily kite them, and things got dull. I’m guessing that the lobby healing was a bug – one that also helped in making things a bit more dull, and is now being fixed. That said, I’d like to know who it was that thought, “Enh… Might as well give it a shot,” while trapped in the lobby one day. Then again, perhaps the enemy being able to glitch through the door gave them the idea.
In addition to the Slaughterhouse changes, the update also introduces new weapon illusions while fixing another. Players can now pick up Flicker and Melt in the Trade Bar store. As for the fix, the Temporal White Illusions won’t appear red in some environments now. The update also introduces several fixes that players can read about on the Neverwinter site.
