Predecessor’s V1.7 Update Welcomes Yurei’s Sister Renna

It looks like today might be a pretty good day for Predecessor players as the V1.7 update goes live. Not only does it introduce Paragon’s original Agora map as part of the new Legacy feature, but it also introduces an all-new character, Renna.

Renna, otherwise known as “the vengeful sorceress”, is the sister of Yurei. She underwent the same training as her sister before forming an alliance with the Demon King of Ashkerath that transformed her into a sorceress who can call upon the demon realm for power. Oh, and steal the life essence of others. In fact, her Echoes of the Damned passive creates a 50% chance of anything that dies near her leaving their Essence behind for her to consume and use to enhance her abilities.

Today’s update also introduces the previously announced Agora map to the F2P MOBA. The map is the first in a new feature called Legacy. It is the Agora map from Paragon, but with some changes that bring it in line with Predecessor’s current state. This means that some of the mechanics from the original map are gone, having been replaced with ones that make more sense for the current game. It’s also noted that these could evolve again in the future.

Also included in this update are several new store skins. I personally don’t care about all the bathing suit ones and the like. But I have to admit, I’m pretty intrigued by whatever is going on here.
