It’s that time again. Bungie is preparing for the next round of Guardian Games in Destiny 2. The event will kick off in the free-to-play shooter on March 24, and the winner will be crowned on April 14. So, prepare yourselves to rep your favorite classes and show what they’re made of.
For this round of Guardian Games, Bungie has added a new version of Rundown that randomizes the bosses players will face, as well as the order they appear in. The original version is still there, so players will be able to play the traditional way if they don’t like the randomness.
As for rewards, a new shader, ship, emblem, ghost shell, and holofoil weapons are all up for grabs. There will also be new unlockable armor ornaments in the Eververse store. They’ll run player 6,000 Bright Dust. And, yes, there are new weapons. Players will need to play Portal activities and collect medallions to earn their class’ weapon. These are the Triple Laureate stasis spreadshot Hand Cannon, The Beacon solar rapid fire Fusion Rifle, and the Keraunios arc adaptive frame Trace Rifle. More information on these is available in the latest edition of This Week in Destiny.
