A new AMD Radeon RX 9070 GPU is reportedly coming, with a cheaper price

Leaked photos have emerged online that suggest a new AMD Radeon RX 9070 GPU is coming, with a cut-down spec and a cheaper price. Reportedly based on the same RDNA 4 architecture as AMD’s acclaimed new GPUs, the new Radeon RX 9070 GRE looks set to come with less VRAM and fewer stream processors.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard Radeon RX 9070 GRE rumors, as leaks about this unannounced AMD GPU have been swirling for a few weeks now. This is the first time we’ve seen pictures of a graphics card based on the GPU, though. Given that the similarly cut-down Radeon RX 7900 GRE ended up with a place on our best graphics card guide, we’re excited to see if this new GPU can deliver similarly decent performance for under $500.
