With both the AMD Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT graphics cards set to be officially imminently unveiled, a confusing new price leak has left us scratching our heads. Early listings for these cards at Micro Center show prices starting at $649.99 for the RX 9070 and $699 for the 9070 XT, but going as high as $1,100, well above what we’d expect these cards to cost.
The lower end of the scale, if confirmed, would place the cheapest of these AMD gaming GPUs between two of the new Nvidia mid-tier cards, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti, with the potential for them to still be among the best graphics cards for everyday gamers. The higher end, however, would leave these cards costing more than the more powerful RTX 5080, leaving some hope that this pricing data might not be entirely accurate.
