It feels like a new roguelike is popping up every day at this point, not that I’m complaining. Whether I’m blasting through Chronos’ Underworld legion in Hades 2, or making another attempt to reach Room 46 in Blue Prince, the popular genre is a veritable trove of creativity. It also encompasses some of the best shooters out there, like Returnal and the Risk of Rain series. Now, Manticore Games is throwing its hat into the ring with the timeline-warping Out of Time, and it’s got some serious potential.
