The AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D, released last year as a Micro Center exclusive in the US, is finally getting a wider release. The 7600X3D could be a boon for gamers on a budget, packed with its powerful 3D V-cache tech to boost gaming performance, and it looks as though it's going to be priced well too.
When it launched, 7600X3D benchmarks revealed that it outperformed some newer AMD Zen 5 CPUs like the 9700X in games, with its use of 3D V-cache being a big part of the reason. Packed with six Zen 4 cores, the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D ranks below the 7800X3D, its eight-core sibling, but its six cores are still enough for most gaming needs. What's more, it undercuts the 7800X3D, which is currently the best-value X3D chip in our best gaming CPU guide, as our AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D review explains.
