This post is just a friendly reminder – just in case you somehow forgot. Today kicks off the Final Fantasy XVI crossover in its MMORPG sibling Final Fantasy XIV. Another stranger from another world has made their way to Eorzea… and honestly, we should probably figure out why this keeps happening, but that can wait until later. Right now we have to deal with Clive.
To take part in the crossover event and get those sweet Final Fantasy XVI-related rewards, including Torgal in both his grown and puppy forms, players level 50 and higher are going to need to head to Ul’dah, where a messenger is looking for them.
Once you’ve met up with them, you’ll be off on a short adventure. When all things are settled, you’ll have your very own Torgal to ride into battle on, as well as a cuter, smaller version to keep at your side. You’ll also have somehow stolen Clive’s clothes. Not really sure how he’ll feel about that.
In addition, if you have some MGP that’s burning a hole in your pocket, there are new event-related items to spend them on in the Gold Saucer, but really, we’re just here for the wolf.
The Clive Triple Triad card will run you 200K MGP and Orchestrion Scrolls featuring FFXVI music will run you 20K MGP each and there's 10 of them.
