In a new video, the Globalization Design Manager for Throne and Liberty — Tiko — addressed major community feedback and upcoming game updates. He began by highlighting the strong positive response to the recent Solisium's Awakening update, noting that the new Battlegrounds mode has exceeded expectations across all player types. Both hardcore and casual participants are engaging actively, thanks to accessible gameplay and rewarding progression systems that make PvP more dynamic and meaningful for everyone playing the free-to-play MMORPG.
Tiko detailed a series of quality-of-life changes in development, with a special focus on fixing spawn camping issues by blocking exploit routes and discouraging teams from camping near spawn zones. He also previewed Ranked Battlegrounds, launching in early November, which will begin with limited queue times and a six-week preseason to fine-tune matchmaking, population balance, and MMR systems before the first full season in December.
Balance adjustments are also on the horizon. The Orb weapon remains popular, but combinations like Orb + Crossbow are still overperforming in PvE, discouraging class diversity. Additional tuning will target these imbalances while maintaining strategic depth in PvP. The long-awaited Artifact system revamp has been delayed to ensure quality.
Addressing player frustration with heroic progression, Tiko announced a new Heroic Pass (October 16) to speed up weapon mastery, planned gear transfer options, and reduced costs to promote build diversity. Server transfer improvements are coming too — with one-way Hyperboost → Legacy transfers opening October 23.
Finally, he revealed that two new dungeons, Colossal Coliseum and Fate’s Abyss, will join Dimensional Trials later this month, alongside the upcoming Haunted Harvest event and outfit design contest ending October 20.
