We're Getting Major Adjustments With Season 4 Of Deceive Inc. To Enhance The Extraction Phase

Season 4 of Deceive Inc. is coming in hot with significant adjustments aimed at enhancing the extraction phase of the shooter's gameplay experience. 

Recognizing the persistent issue of "ping stalling" during extractions, the developers over at Sweet Bandits Studios implemented changes to address player frustrations and inject more dynamism into this crucial phase. Changes include modifications to briefcase ping mechanics, such as eliminating the ability to completely stall pings and instead reducing speed by 50% when scanning. Specific adjustments to agent abilities like Larcin and Madame Xiu aim to ensure that ping accumulation remains consistent and prevents prolonged delays, resulting in a maximum 45-second wait time for a ping to occur (regardless of stalling tactics employed).

Along with these alterations, the game has revamped the auto-calling logic for extraction cars. The team acknowledged previous flaws in its decision-making process — so the system now prioritizes path-based calculations, considering various factors like obstacles and terrain. This refinement ensures that extraction points are selected more intuitively, aligning with player expectations and reducing instances of inconveniently placed extraction calls. 

Also, recognizing the significance of navigation mode, the developers have introduced customizable camera sensitivity settings. This addition allows players, particularly controller users, to tailor their experience, enabling faster scans and smoother navigation while carrying the briefcase.
