Wuthering Waves Is Introducing Main Quest Replay In Version 3.7

This morning Kuro hosted the latest Wuthering Waves Special Program, offering players a look at what’s to come when Version 3.7 drops on September 30. The Mengzhou storyline continues with players finally entering the Sanctum of the region’s Sentinel, Hsin. The sactum reflects both Hsin’s role of the creator of the many mechanical devices found in the region as well as her personal state. It also contains a microcosm of the region itself and is broken into different realms, each with their own puzzles to solve.

When the player heads to the Sanctum, they’ll be joined by a member of the Ministry of Sentinel Affairs, Intendant Suoming. Suoming’s appearance in the region is drawing a lot of attention, and causing speculation that Xuangfang Hold will collapse soon as it’s served it purpose.

In addition to the main quest, the update will also introduce a new exploration quest that takes place during the Waking Moon Festival. Something is off and a strange carriage will lead players into an illusion where they must figure out what’s going on.

Players can also expect to introduce a new quest type. Tales Quests feature fully staged story scenes and voice acting from beginning to end. The first one will take players back to the beginning where they’ll meet a girl named Suanqing and retrace her life.

I’m sure that at this point, no WuWa fan will be surprised to hear that our next playable resonator is also our first playable Sentinel. Hsin, the Moon Fox is a five-star Electro Resonator armed with a Rectifier. She’s also a dual-form Resonator, switching between her more down to earth self and her Sentinel self. Although, I suppose you could say that technically, she’s a triple-form Resonator since one of her abilities has her transform into a small fox. Her weapon also compliments her divinity as it’s a miniature version of the city she protects.

The second Resonator arriving in Version 3.7 is Suoming. She’s someone who has suffered great loss, including nine companions who now travel with her more or less as ghosts, thanks to her umbrella and another device she carries. Suoming is also an Electro Resonator, but armed with a sword (technically, her umbrella, which is definitely more than a sword). The signature weapon players will be able to roll on looks a lot like her umbrella, just with a sword hidden inside.

Hsin will be available in the new update’s first banner. At the same time Iuno and Chisa will make a return. The second banner will feature Suoming along with reruns of Lynae and Lucilla.

On an additional note Version 3.7 will also introduce Main Quest Replay, allowing players to re-experience Versions 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 again. Progress on the replays will be saved, so players can return to it whenever they want.

As always, three redemption codes were dropped during the stream. These are: FALLINGSANCTUM, FINDSENTINEL, and WAKINGMOON.
