Agents of Mayhem is an open-world third-person action title published by Deep Silver and developed by Deep Silver Volition. The game was released on August 15, 2017, and features single-player gameplay where players take on the role of Super Agents. These agents operate against a shadowy super-villain organization known as LEGION and their leader, the Morningstar. Players can explore the city of Seoul to stop LEGION's plans for global domination. The narrative follows events after global attacks called Devil's Night, which allowed LEGION's Ministries to seize control of various cities. In Seoul, players confront the Ministry of Pride led by Doctor Babylon and his team of supporting villains. Each Super Agent has a distinct appearance, personality, set of weapons, and unique skills available for use. The game is created by the same team behind the Saints Row franchise. The main story takes approximately 17 hours to complete when focusing only on the primary narrative. Including extra content extends the playtime to about 26 hours for those who explore additional elements. A completionist approach to finishing all aspects of the game requires around 50 hours of gameplay.

Agents of Mayhem does a good job paying homage to the cartoon and live-action TV heroes of the 80s and 90s, and revels in the absurd tropes and idiosyncrasies of those inspirations. A broad and goofy arsenal of unique weapons and gadgets and the ability to switch characters on the fly to access complementary abilities offers some solid combat and good mindless fun, but due to some unpolished writing and repetitive environments and enemy types, it doesn't fully live up to its heroic potential.
