About

Killer is Dead - Nightmare Edition is an action title published by Deep Silver and developed by KADOKAWA GAMES and GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE. This exclusive version for PC was released on May 23, 2014. The game features single-player gameplay where players control the suave executioner Mondo Zappa. Designed by renowned creator SUDA51, the experience focuses on stylish action involving slicing, dicing, and shooting. Players can prepare for a narrative centered around the thrill of love and kill within the Killer is Dead universe. The Nightmare Edition introduces a new difficulty mode called Nightmare Mode that restricts enemy defeat to specific attacks. In this mode, enemies must be taken down using Adrenaline Burst, Dodge Burst, or Headshots. Additionally, players cannot use the Final Judgement finisher in QTE mode to eliminate foes. A Theater Mode allows users to rewatch cutscenes and access extended background information on characters. These features help unravel the story after a first playthrough. The package also includes the Smooth Operator Pack for console versions.
