About
Disc Room is an indie action survival adventure published by Devolver Digital and developed by Terri, Dose, Kitty, and JW. The game was released on October 22, 2020, as a single-player experience set in the year 2089. Players assume the role of a scientist inside an oversized space suit who must explore a giant disc orbiting Jupiter. This environment functions as a sprawling intergalactic slaughterhouse where the player faces numerous threats. The gameplay involves moving from room to room while surviving and completing increasingly complex goals. You will use unlocked abilities to outmaneuver dozens of different disc types while solving mysterious puzzles throughout the ship. A core mechanic dictates that what kills you only makes you stronger, allowing for progression through these dangers. The main story takes approximately three hours to complete, with additional content extending playtime to four hours. For those seeking to see every aspect of the game, the completionist length reaches nine hours.
